Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving today and are certainly looking forward to a nice weekend with friends and family. Sunday will be extra special because Sarah is getting baptised. Earlier this week, Sarah already started getting ready for the holidays by trying on the cute dress that Aunt Lisa bought her.

Sarah's little cough has gone away, but now Joella and I both have colds. I guess that we better start getting used to it, but hopefully it won't last all weekend. Sarah went to the doctor this week for another shot and she weighed in at 12 pounds and 14 ounces. She's getting so big!

Happy Six Month Birthday!

Sarah turned six months old today and what a wonderful time we have had these past months. We are very happy that Sarah has been sleeping through the night this past month, and it has been great seeing her grow. Sarah has a little cough right now so we are watching it closely and will probably go see the pediatrician tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Our little cutie sure keeps us on our toes with all of the story times and adventures around the house in the Baby Bjorn. We can't even imagine how crazy it will be when Sarah starts crawling and walking.

More Puppy Dog Pictures

Here are a few more pictures of our three puppy dogs. Sarah was enjoying her outfit a little more this time and we actually got quite a few smiles. It is always a challenge to get the puppies to sit still and I can't wait until we try to take our Christmas card photo.

And a few cute pictures of Miss Sarah playing on the floor...

Bye Bye Jeep

We sold our Jeep this week so now we are back down to two vehicles. Joella can gloat now because her minivan has all of the great features and I get the Camry. The funny thing is that for the last year and half many of the great features on the Jeep starting breaking anyway. It would have been fun to take the Jeep out off-roading and really beat it up, but this way I got some good money out of it. I used this picture to post it on Craigslist, and come to think of it, this may be the only picture that I have of my old Jeep. Ah, I can still remember when Matt took me out to West County to go pick it up.

Well, enough boring talk...I know that I will get into lots of trouble if I don't post some new video clips of our little Cutie Pie. Sarah did not nap yesterday afternoon very well, so last night she was all riled up and didn't want to go to sleep. When Joella got fed up, I took her into the nursery and rocked her in the dark. Well, Sarah just looked at me in the dark and babbled away for a good 15 minutes until I got fed up. Joella finally got her to sleep after 11 pm so from now on we are going to work hard in order to make sure that she naps during the day.

Here is a clip of happy Sarah being quite the talker...

And this is how Sarah talks when she is hungry and wants to give mommy the business...

Finally, here is Miss Sarah practicing how to roll over from her back onto her belly. Sarah really wanted to get her hands on that mirror.

All Bundled Up

Sarah got bundled up this morning so we could go to church and complete our second baptism class. She was a very good girl during class, but by the end she sure was hungry. Sarah made us pay later in the day for making her wait to eat because she had two diaper blowouts. The second time daddy got the poopy diaper and Joella ended up rolling on the floor as Sarah pooped and peed on me right after I cleaned her up, but before I got the new diaper on. Good thing that stinker is so darn cute!

Here are a few more bonus pictures of Miss Sarah being so cute in her bouncy chair just a few minutes before her first blowout...

Another Great Doctor's Visit

Sarah had great visit today with the physical and speech therapists. They both said that she is acting like a 3-4 month old baby which is quite a bit better than they expected. They gave us a few more specific exercises to try, but in general, they said that Sarah is doing great. Joella also took Sarah by the St. Luke's NICU for a few minutes, and the nurses and doctors were very happy to see her.

It is amazing to see how much Sarah learns every single day. The following are a few pictures from the last week of Sarah in her bumbo seat. The last two pictures were taken today and you can see just how much better Sarah is doing holding her head up.

A Few More Video Clips From Our Vacation

Here is a clip of Amelia singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" while Maggie and Uncle Karl play Dora with Sarah.

And Sarah squirming in her bouncy seat.

So you think that the E-Trades baby is cute? Check out Miss Sarah.

Our New Puppy Dog

Things have been pretty crazy here ever since we got the new puppy. If you don't believe me then just look at the cute pictures below.

In case you were wondering, Joella and I didn't dress Sarah up last night just to get candy from all of the neighbors. Sarah was definitely the star of the show with the ladies in the neighborhood, but she couldn't out-dress Christian across the street because he actually cut his real hair into a mohawk so he could be Mr. T for Halloween. Here are a few more bonus pictures from Grandma's visit today...
